Approximately 15 years ago, I encountered the practice of yoga upon my relocation to the Seattle area. In 2012, after my move to Oklahoma City, I had the privilege of further immersing myself in the practice, notably at an exceptional studio that seamlessly integrated yoga philosophy into its teachings. Upon my relocation to Salt Lake City in 2017, my commitment to yoga persisted. However, I encountered a notable shift in the studio landscape, as the establishments primarily emphasized the physical aspects of yoga.

The year 2020 marked a significant turning point in my yoga journey, as I embarked on a transformative path towards attaining my RYT-200 yoga teaching certification, successfully achieving this milestone in March of 2021. This comprehensive program, while encompassing the physical dimension of yoga, placed a profound emphasis on its philosophical and spiritual aspects. Over the past few years, I have been privileged to share my knowledge by instructing yoga through private sessions and as part of a yoga fitness club within my workplace.

With each step I take into a yoga class, I am deeply inspired with a profound sense of gratitude as I embrace the role of an instructor. My unwavering passion lies in nurturing the intricate interplay between the mind, body, and soul, a foundation that underscores the essence of yoga. In my classes, my primary focus rests upon the cultivation of self-connection and self-acceptance, fostering a profound journey of personal growth and holistic well-being.

I have more than 10 years of experience in mindfulness practices.  I started the Mastery of Consciousness courses in 2010 at the School of Metaphysics (SOM).  The courses focused on mastery of 10 Essential Life Skills, one of them being meditation.  After receiving my Respondere or Level 1 Certification, I started teaching adults these principles such as concentration, meditation, visualization and more.  I received my Qui Docet Discit or Second Level certification along with becoming a Dream Coach, Director of several branches and continuing to teach.  I practiced the mind principles for over 9 years and taught these same principles for more than six years through SOM.

I then became certified as a Theta and Reiki healer in 2021 and 2022 and now use a combination technique to help people heal.  I also lead a employer sponsored club on weekly mindfulness and meditation practices.  The meditation style I teach helps individuals go within, listen to themselves,    and learn to live meditatively.  The meditation is simple yet powerful as it provides guidance to connect with Universal Source Energy.
